November 2 to 8, 2009
The late Peter Drucker is known as the father of modern management. Through his work as a professor, executive consultant, and prolific author, he made a profound impact on the way the world perceived leadership, innovation, economy, and society – ultimately earning him the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
In commemoration and celebration of what would have been Peter Drucker’s 100th birthday, we invite you to join us for Drucker Centennial Week, Nov. 2-8, 2009.
This week of events is the culmination of a two-year Drucker Centennial celebrated around the world – from New York City to Seoul, Vienna to Beijing, Tokyo to Sao Paulo.
This crowning Centennial Week will be held at the Drucker School of Management in Claremont, Calif. and in downtown Los Angeles, and will include visits from influential writer and professor Warren Bennis, author and leadership expert Ken Blanchard (One Minute Manager), author Jim Collins (Good to Great, How the Mighty Fall), author Stephen Covey (The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People), London Business School co-founder Charles Handy, and former Girl Scouts of the USA CEO Frances Hesselbein. |
